Love clint Eastwood. Richard Jewel's story should help people understand how the FBI is capable of making mistakes based on their bias and the mainstream media jumps on board to destroy the life of an innocent hero. When you thwart the government's plan you will be in the spotlight and ruined by the media. Didnt the bible say something about these type of people. “The press is the enemy of the people” -people who pretend theyve read the constitution. THE SICKNESS of Sensationalist Journalism. While the trailer was kinda heavy handed, I dont equate conservatism with anti-FBI or anti-media, despite the current administration. So if “critics” are trashing the film because of the conservative Director their opinions on film should no longer be seen as valid. Critics are supposed to critique the film not the directors political leanings.
Paul walter houser is so cute. Just imagine how mad you will have to be after all hes been through. I think clint eastwood should've added this clip of jewell speaking to congress at the end credits. Joker Joker Joker.

This looks great. Great movie-very intense and realistic. Obviously the FBI and the Media are the bad guys-maybe the Carter Page movie 20 years from now will be just as gripping. I was few miles away when this event happened. As an Atlanta resident I can say the shameless group-think of the media was embarrassing. During the movie I flashed back to the repeated government assaults on Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh. Clint Eastwood's portrayal was fair but with compassion added. I'll bet the FBI punks got a promotion. Shows that even back then the media was the enemy of the people. The Covington kids should open peoples eyes by now. They ruin lives and are worse than ever before. Malcom X said they make the innocent guilty a guilty innocent.
Perfect movie! I like the lawyer! He has a strong actitude. Some things never seem to change about the FBI or the Media.

Hola :v. I wouldnt be surprised if introverts like Jewel have a higher rate of investigation and reaching plea deals. I have some anxiety about watching a depiction of the BS Richard Jewell had to endure at the hands of law enforcement and the will watch in his memory as I hope most do.
